PreK: Show and Tell (PREK.LS.1)
This fun and supportive weekly 30 min Zoom class helps pre-k students build early speech and communication skills through guided show-and-tell activities.
Children practice taking turns speaking and listening, using simple complete sentences like “This is my…” and “I like…,” and answering basic questions about objects they share. With gentle teacher support in a small-group setting, students grow confidence speaking in front of others while developing important social and language skills.
The class uses repetition, songs, visual cues, and predictable routines to help young learners build vocabulary and feel comfortable participating each week. Playful elements like a silly puppet friend and interactive activities encourage even shy children to come out of their shell, while repeated practice strengthens listening, memory, sentence-building, and conversational skills in a fun and engaging way.
